Fatal is an upgrade path in Demon's Souls.
General Information
Fatal weapons are made by upgrading a weapon with Marrowstone.
Effects
Fatal weapons cause more backstab and riposte damage at the cost of lowered base damage.
Notes
This upgrade path can be used with weapons that already have bonuses to backstabs and ripostes, such as the Dagger, for additional damage.
